Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Focus on Frontend & UX
What we do
We develop and integrate an intelligent, machine-learning-based document processing platform for financial institutions, built entirely in-house by full-stack and machine learning engineers and deployed by our DevOps team.
Our team in Zurich has 12 people, almost all in technical roles.
Even if you focus on one particular area, you get insight into everything - from document classification and data extraction to LLM post-processing and product deployment.
What we are looking for
- Solid experience in classical software development
- Advanced use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot and Cursor
- Translating complex requirements into clear tasks, context information and acceptance criteria
- Critically reviewing and validating AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, performance and test coverage
- 3-5 years of hands-on UX experience and the ability to translate user needs and workflows into intuitive product interfaces

Frontend
- React and TypeScript
- TanStack Query and Ant Design
- CSS fundamentals
UX & Product Design
- 3-5 years of hands-on UX experience
- Translating complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences
- Designing human-in-the-loop (HITL) interfaces and presenting fuzzy or uncertain results clearly and actionably
- Sound understanding of usability, interaction design and information architecture
- Ability to make UX and design decisions
Backend and Service Design
- Python, Django, Django Ninja, Pydantic and Pytest
- REST APIs, OpenAPI and API versioning
- Integration architecture, queues, retries and data flows
- PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ and asynchronous processing
DevOps
- GitLab CI/CD
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code
Security and Compliance
- OpenID Connect and JWT
- Secure coding and OWASP fundamentals
